With the airline first
Airlines have their own process for passengers who need a stretcher, oxygen, a wheelchair or medical clearance. Complete this before booking the road leg, and note the airline's reporting time.
Timing the road leg
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is at Shamshabad, south of the city. Travel time depends on where the pickup is and the time of day. Build in margin, missing a reporting time for a stretcher passenger is hard to recover from.
At the destination
Arrange the road leg at the destination airport before departure so the patient is not left waiting on arrival.
