The corridor

The route runs south on NH-44 through Jadcherla and Kurnool, crosses into Andhra Pradesh past the Krishna, then through Anantapur district and into Karnataka near Bagepalli before the final approach on the Bengaluru–Hyderabad highway into the city’s northern edge at Hebbal.

This is the busiest interstate ambulance corridor out of Hyderabad, and one of the easiest to run: four-laned throughout, with reliable fuel and food halts. The hard part is the last 40 km — Bengaluru’s traffic from Hebbal flyover to hospitals in the city core can take as long as the previous 150 km of highway, so we time arrivals outside peak hours whenever the patient’s condition allows.

Frequently asked questions

Which Bengaluru hospitals are easiest to reach by ambulance from Hyderabad?

Hospitals on the northern side — Manipal Hebbal, Aster CMI and Columbia Asia Hebbal — are reached before entering city traffic. For hospitals deeper in the city (Bannerghatta Road, Cunningham Road), add one to two hours of city driving and prefer a night or early-morning arrival.

How long does an ambulance take from Hyderabad to Bengaluru?

About 10–13 hours for the 575 km via NH-44, including patient halts. Ambulances drive steadily for the patient’s comfort — a private car’s time is not the right benchmark.

Can a critical patient travel from Hyderabad to Bengaluru by road?

Usually yes, with the right configuration: ICU vehicle, matching crew, oxygen with deep reserve, and en-route hospitals marked. The treating doctor’s travel clearance is the starting point — we screen every case honestly and advise if rail or air would serve better.

How do we get a quotation for this route?

Call +91 99210 86108 or send an enquiry with the patient’s condition and pickup details. We confirm the configuration and provide a written quotation before dispatch.
