Outstation Ambulance Service from Hyderabad

An outstation ambulance moves a patient from Hyderabad to another city — whether that is a three-hour run to Vijayawada or a two-day interstate transfer to Delhi. Unlike a city emergency trip, an outstation transfer is planned: the vehicle is fuelled and checked before departure, the attendant is briefed on the patient’s condition, and the receiving hospital is informed of the expected arrival window.

We operate these transfers around the clock from Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Cyberabad. On long routes we can assign two drivers so the vehicle keeps moving while one driver rests, and the attendant monitors the patient throughout the journey. Families are welcome to travel in the ambulance where seating allows, or follow in their own vehicle with the driver’s number saved.

When this service is the right choice

What travels with the patient

How we plan it

For outstation trips we always do a short medical screening call first: diagnosis, mobility, oxygen needs, and any equipment the patient is on. That determines whether a basic road ambulance is enough or whether the transfer needs an ICU setup with a ventilator and critical-care attendant. We then confirm the route plan and a written quotation before dispatch.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book an outstation ambulance from Hyderabad?

For routes under about 400 km, same-day dispatch is usually possible. For transfers beyond 800 km, or where a ventilator or doctor is required, booking 12–24 hours ahead lets us plan drivers, oxygen quantity and route halts properly. In genuine emergencies we dispatch as fast as the vehicle can be prepared.

Can a family member travel in the ambulance?

Yes. Most of our vehicles seat one or two attendants from the family alongside our medical attendant. If more relatives are travelling, they usually follow by car or train and stay in touch with the driver.

What happens if the patient’s condition changes on the highway?

The attendant continuously monitors the patient and can divert to the nearest suitable hospital en route. Before departure we note major hospitals along the highway for exactly this reason.

Do you handle the receiving hospital’s admission?

We hand the patient over to the emergency or admissions desk with the transfer documents you provide. Admission formalities themselves are between the family and the hospital, but our attendant stays until the handover is complete.

Is the ambulance permitted to cross state borders?

Yes — vehicles used for interstate transfers carry the permits required for the route, and tolls and border formalities are handled by the driver during the journey.
